About Echoes of Life
Our Mission, Our Heart
Echoes of Life is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care, resources, and emotional support to individuals and families affected by kidney cancer, rare cancers, and caregiving burdens, fostering a community of hope and resilience.
Our Story
The Echo That Started It All
It began with a profound love shattered by a cruel diagnosis: my husband, Emmanuel, was diagnosed with aggressive, rare cancers at age 42. Our family’s world fractured as I became his full-time caregiver, a role of unseen heroism often met with a cold, quiet system. After his death, I met others who shared this isolating journey.
From this collective ache and shared determination, Echoes of Life was built. We are a lifeline and a response to suffering. Born from resilience, our organization exists to provide the crucial, non-whispered support I wish I had for those facing kidney cancer, rare cancers, and the heavy call of caregiving. We are the quiet strength behind those unraveling heroes, answering the plea, “You’re not alone.”
Who we serve

Rare cancers are often overlooked—yet they matter. We uplift patients through targeted support, advocacy, and resource referrals in a system that often leaves them behind.
Resilient Caregiver
Behind every patient is a warrior of love. We offer caregivers emotional wellness tools, faith-based encouragement, and community to help them stay strong.
